Benjamin Elwood is driven by a belief that Colorado’s future depends on resourceful planning, collaborative problem-solving, and technological innovation. With a background in physics and science policy, he shares his time between developing his small business and advocating for clean energy development, environmental engineering, and the merging of scientific expertise with political leadership.

Ben is running for Colorado’s Senate District 21 to bring a futuristic vision to the Capitol and a leadership style that values data over ideology, solutions over slogans, and coalition-building over political theater. He believes the challenges facing Colorado require a new generation of lawmakers who have been living with the consequences of poor management and are willing to experiment with bolder thinking.

Beyond his advocacy, Ben lives in Westminster with his wife Izabel and their beloved dog, Bartok. Together, they share a love for music, traveling, and navigating the joys and challenges of homeownership.
